Official Ceremony at Qasr Al Watan as UAE President Welcomes Chilean President
ABU DHABI (WAM) – The United Arab Emirates welcomed His Excellency Gabriel Boric Font, President of the Republic of Chile, as he embarked on an official visit to the UAE. President Boric Font was received with an official welcome ceremony at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, where he was greeted by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The atmosphere was filled with grandeur as the national anthems of both the UAE and Chile echoed through the air. An impressive honour guard stood at attention, and a 21-gun salute was fired to commemorate the Chilean President’s visit.

Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and many other high-ranking officials.
President Boric Font was accompanied by an official delegation composed of Chilean ministers and senior officials, including Alberto van Klaveren, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nicolás Grau, Minister of Economy, Development, and Tourism; Jessica Lopez Saffie, Minister of Public Works; Aisén Etcheverry, Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation; and Patricio Diaz Broughton, Ambassador of Chile to the UAE.
