The event, graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Shermatov Sherzod Xotamovich – The Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 150 students representing 14 countries from the Middle East and Central Asia.

Dressed resplendently in their traditional garb, the students exuded pride as they welcomed the minister at their cultural booths, each meticulously adorned to showcase the rich tapestry of their cultural heritage. The air was abuzz with excitement as the students geared up for the forthcoming days of the competition, with the grand opening ceremony slated for the 12th of August. Following the regional competition, the winning team will advance to China to vie for top honors in the global finals, adding an extra edge of thrill and anticipation to the competition.

The spirit of camaraderie and collaboration was palpable throughout the event, as echoed by Abdulla Ashraf Hassan Ibrahim, a member of the UAE Team, who expressed his gratitude and eagerness to seize the opportunity presented by Huawei’s visionary initiative.
