New AI-powered Surface devices introduced in UAE to boost innovation and productivity

Microsoft’s new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop have hit the market in the UAE, aiming to cater to the needs of students, professionals, and technology enthusiasts who are seeking to boost their productivity with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). These devices are part of Microsoft’s Copilot+ PCs portfolio, a revolutionary category of Windows PCs engineered to leverage AI technology to its fullest potential.

The Copilot+ PCs boast unparalleled speed and intelligence, with the capability of processing over 40 trillion operations per second. One of the standout features of these devices is Recall, which allows users to instantly retrieve any item they have viewed on their PC. Additionally, Cocreator generates and enhances AI images in real-time, while Live Captions can translate live or pre-recorded videos from 44 languages, including Arabic, into English.

Powered by the latest Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors, this device is a remarkable 90 percent faster than its predecessor, the Surface Pro 9. With a battery life of up to 14 hours, users can rest assured that the device will keep up with them on the go.

Similarly, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC is also equipped with the new Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. Featuring a fresh design, brighter displays with razor-thin bezels, additional ports, faster connectivity with Wi-Fi 7, and up to 22 hours of battery life, this laptop is designed to enhance productivity for its users.

Both the Surface Pro 11th Edition Copilot+ PC and the Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC will be available in the UAE starting August 27, with prices starting at around AED4,099 (,116) and AED 3,999 (,089) respectively.

All Copilot+ PCs are classified as Secured-core PCs, offering enhanced security for both commercial and consumer devices. Additionally, a Microsoft Pluton security processor is included in all Copilot+ PCs, providing chip-to-cloud security features that protect credentials, identities, personal data, and encryption keys, making them significantly more difficult to extract from the device.

Furthermore, all Copilot+ PCs, including the new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models, come with Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS), which offers secure biometric sign-ins, eliminating the need for passwords.
