‘Kazakhstan-based Companies and NLC Successfully Deliver Goods to Dubai’
In a milestone achievement, the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) has joined hands with Kazak companies to successfully transport the first-ever consignment of goods from Kazakhstan to Dubai, passing through Afghanistan.
The consignment, consisting of two trucks carrying a total of twenty-one tons of goods, completed a 4,900-kilometer journey to Karachi in just twenty days. From there, the shipment was loaded onto a feeder ship for the final leg of its journey to Jebel Ali Port in Dubai.
This successful delivery paves the way for around sixty containers to be transported via this route in the coming months. The opening of this corridor provides Kazakhstan with access to markets in the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, showcasing the potential for increased trade and economic opportunities.
The collaboration between NLC and Kazak companies marks a significant step towards enhancing trade connectivity and facilitating the movement of goods between Kazakhstan and key markets in the region.
